We are a small dog rescue based in Southern Wisconsin. Our mission is to rescue the forgotten, the overlooked, the abandoned, who have nowhere else to turn. We are dedicated to rescuing at-risk and euthanization-listed dogs in Texas and other southern states. With the help of our wonderful fosters, we bring the dogs to Wisconsin for a second chance at life. A life where they know love and have the family they were always meant to have.At Lifeline Dog Rescue, we believe every dog deserves a second chance. Lifeline Dog Rescue is powered by compassion—and that compassion comes from everyone who supports our mission. Without dedicated volunteers, especially foster families, fulfilling our mission to rescue, save, and rehome dogs in need would be impossible. Every volunteer plays an important role in giving our dogss a second chance at life.We welcome individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and willing to support our mission in meaningful ways. Volunteers are ALWAYS needed in the following areas:Foster Homes – Providing temporary, loving care for dogs in need. Fostering for just a few weeks will save the life of a dog!Events– Supporting events and initiatives that allow our rescue to continue saving lives.Fundraising- helping the rescue find ways to fundraise so that we can save more dogs that would likely be euthanized.

Our foster program enables us to rescue dogs who would otherwise have nowhere to go, providing them with a safe environment while they prepare for adoption.As a foster, you play a critical role in a dog’s recovery and growth—helping them heal, learn, and thrive in a home setting. Foster families offer love, stability, and guidance that the dogs desperately need. In return, fosters experience the profound reward of knowing they directly changed a life for the better.Lifeline Dog Rescue provides support, guidance, and resources throughout the foster journey.
